Choosing the Right Bounce House
A few things to check before you choose.
Measure the Space
Check the flat, open area in your yard and leave a few feet clear on every side for anchoring and the blower. Watch for low branches, clotheslines and the slope you see on a lot of Clark County properties. If you are not sure, send us the measurements and we will tell you what fits.
Think About Your Guests
A classic unit like the All American or Purple Rain works well for a group of similar ages. If your party mixes little ones with older kids, a unit with a slide keeps them moving and gives the older kids something to climb. Younger crowds usually love the Jelly Roll.
Plan for Power and Weather
Every bounce house runs on a blower, so plan on an outdoor outlet near the setup spot. If power is a problem, a generator is available from our party extras. Kentucky weather can change fast, so check the forecast and call us early if storms look likely.
Bouncing Around Clark County From Our Winchester Home
Winchester is where Kentucky Kids Bounce is based, and it is the town we know best. As the Clark County seat, it sits just off I-64 about 20 miles east of Lexington, where the horse farms of the Bluegrass start giving way to the foothills. That location keeps our trucks close to home, which matters on a busy Saturday when your party starts at noon.
A lot of local birthdays happen in the big backyards you find across Clark County, whether that is a subdivision near the Bypass or a few acres out toward Pilot View and Becknerville. Yards like these are a good match for our Big Blue Bounce or Purple Rain Bounce House. If your yard has a slope or a tight gate, tell us when you book and we will help you pick a unit that fits.
Winchester has plenty of public space for bigger gatherings too. College Park and Lykins Park are the first places most families think of for a reunion or a team party. Park rules can change, so check with Winchester-Clark County Parks and Recreation before you plan on an inflatable there, then let us know what surface we will be setting up on. Grass gets long steel stakes, and hard surfaces get sandbags.
School groups keep us busy as well. PTO nights and end of year field days at Clark County Public Schools, including events tied to George Rogers Clark High School, usually need something that handles a line of kids without slowing down. A bounce house with a slide, like our Spiderman Bounce House, gives a crowd two things to do in one footprint.
This town also loves a good excuse to get together. The Beer Cheese Festival brings people downtown every summer, Main Street stays active through the warmer months, and a cold Ale-8-One, bottled here since the 1920s, is never far from a Winchester cookout. A bounce house fits right into that kind of relaxed, everybody-come-over afternoon, and it gives the kids a place to burn off energy while the grown-ups visit.
Delivery here is simple because we are close by. If you are hosting on the east side of town near the Mountain Parkway or down toward the Kentucky River at Ford, the crew still arrives with time to spare, and a quick call the week before is usually all it takes to sort out any questions about your setup.

Events We Serve in Winchester
Backyard birthdays are the heart of what we do in Winchester, especially for families around College Park and out in the county. We also set up for school events across Clark County Public Schools, Vacation Bible Schools and church festivals, and company picnics for local employers. Graduation parties for George Rogers Clark seniors, baby showers and family reunions at Lykins Park round out the calendar. Whatever you are planning, the routine stays the same: we bring the unit, set it up safely and pick it up when the party is over. Neighborhood block parties and teacher appreciation days fit nicely too, and a tent or a few tables from the same order keeps everyone comfortable.

Common Questions Before You Book
Straight answers for Winchester families.
Do you deliver bounce houses in Winchester, KY?
Yes. Winchester is our home base, and we cover all of Clark County, including Pilot View, Becknerville and Ford. Enter your address at checkout to see delivery for your location.
Can I rent a bounce house for a Winchester park?
We can set up in many public spaces, but the rules belong to the park. Check with Winchester-Clark County Parks and Recreation before booking College Park or Lykins Park, then tell us the surface so we can bring the right anchoring.
Does a bounce house have to go on grass?
No. We can set up on grass, cement, concrete, asphalt or indoors. Grass setups use long steel stakes, and other surfaces use sandbags. Let us know the terrain when you reserve.
Are your bounce houses clean?
Yes. After every rental, each unit is cleaned with commercial vinyl cleaner, disinfected, sanitized and inspected.
Can I use a water hose on a bounce house?
Only on units designed for water. The Spiderman Bounce House W/Slide can run wet or dry. Regular bounce houses should stay dry, so ask us before adding water.
